Who Are The Baker Street Belles?

As a Vocal Harmony Trio that only started singing together during the confusion and chaotic time of a pandemic, The Baker Street Belles have had to embrace the creativity that it has demanded.  

Rehearsals for The Baker Street Belles have been heavily online, working through each vocal part individually and then putting it together with the handy help of the “mute” button in Zoom.  This trio of singers until recently had not even met in the same space and now that they have well all chaos has been unleased. 

The Baker Street Belles are loud, funny, occasionally technically challenged and are eager to bring their infectious energy, and brilliant vocals to performances and gigs!  Rehearsals in person, whilst mainly about the music, are also about The Baker Street Belles having a space to be themselves. 

While juggling work, family this fantastic vocal harmony trio have worked at creating entertaining and engaging videos of the songs that they have covered.  The Baker Street Belles are working hard at building diverse and entertaining sets spanning from the songs of The Andrew Sisters all the way to The Puppini Sisters and Post Modern Jukebox arrangements of Beyoncé.  All of this in the hope that they can work towards creating their own arrangements that are “Uniquely Baker Street” – Don’t panic we’re not launching a fashion brand – Just yet! 

Over the past year there have been ups, downs, laughter, tears and most recently the best addition to rehearsal – HUGS! (Oh – and donuts)
